Amazing capture! That looks like a big fish (you know what kind and can you see it thrashing about inside the pouch?) caught and staring down its captor's throat here! So could the pelican really manage to win the battle and gulp that whole thing down entirely okay? Does the fish put up a good fight, if eaten, does the unlucky prey get swallowed wriggling all the way as well?!

T Guy Spencer

Sarasota-based T Guy Spencer has held a strong interest in the visual arts for more than sixty years. He was engaged in motion picture exhibition in the Boston area and subsequently opened a retail photography studio and color laboratories serving the general public in Sudbury and Walpole, Massachusetts. Retired from business, he enjoys capturing the beauty and wonder of nature in digital files. He uses a Canon camera in the "ultra zoom" series, currently using a SX60hs.
