Poás Volcano is an active volcano situated at 8,885 ft. altitude in Alajuela Province of Costa Rica. It was active as recently as April, 2017. Often cloud covered, it occasionally presents itself in all its beauty.
About T Guy Spencer
Sarasota-based T Guy Spencer has held a strong interest in the visual arts for more than sixty years. He was engaged in motion picture exhibition in the Boston area and subsequently opened a retail photography studio and color laboratories serving the general public in Sudbury and Walpole, Massachusetts. Retired from business, he enjoys capturing the beauty and wonder of nature in digital files. He uses a Canon camera in the "ultra zoom" series, currently using a SX60hs.
